He also had a special interest in assisting patients in coping with physical health changes and chronic pain and illness, including life-threatening illness and its treatment.

Dr. Kippes worked with individuals, couples, and groups, including dealing with alcohol and substance use problems, recovery issues, and relapse prevention. He is experienced with neuropsychological assessment of all age groups as young as seven years. He currently consults with, instructs, and supervises advanced graduate students and post-doctorate fellows in psychological testing and assessment and is particularly involved in special topics for neuropsychological assessment.
